The practice
Ellie has always painted worlds rather than pictures. Her art begins with the feeling of a place: light moving over water, the stillness before a storm, the vastness of a night sky. Working in layered mixed media, she translates those atmospheres into luminous, fluid surfaces that shift with the light and change the feeling of the environments they inhabit. The instinct that colour and atmosphere can transform how people feel, has carried her from gallery walls in Hollywood to the frontier of intelligent environments. Today the canvas is one instrument among several: through her studio and through TogetherGen she is creating art that responds, from installations and immersive experiences to sensory spaces designed for human potential.

Art and design consultancy for film and media, including live art created during a Hollywood music-video shoot.
The work
Ellie's work combines energy, movement and luminous colour to create immersive visual experiences that change with light and perspective. Her practice is now evolving to encompass installations, intelligent spaces and responsive environments. A major new body of work is in development in the studio.
Art with purpose
Original works have raised thousands of pounds at charity auctions in London and Los Angeles, including support for SEED and UCP Wheels for Humanity.
